The uniqueness of this design lies in its simplicity and use of clean lines. The gray color scheme and minimalist approach ensure the brightness of natural lighting, creating a serene atmosphere. The gray floors and walls are complemented by black cabinets, adding a touch of sophistication without overwhelming the space.
The layout of the house is carefully planned to optimize functionality and communication between different areas. A transparent glass partition separates the video room and living room, allowing for natural light while maintaining a sense of connection. The use of polyurethane for the living room floor ensures durability and easy maintenance.
Storage space was a priority for the homeowner, and the design accommodates this need with a 60 square meter cabinet. The cabinet includes ample storage, a shoe rack, and a chest, all tailored to the homeowner's specific requirements.
The realization of this design involved using polyurethane for the floors and walls to maintain a consistent gray color. Metal strip closures were used at the junction between the polyurethane and floor tiles to prevent cracking and enhance aesthetics. The entire project was completed in Kunming, China, starting in June 2019 and finishing in December 2019.
This residential house design prioritizes comfort and practicality, taking into account the habits and preferences of each family member. Despite a limited budget, the design team focused on environmental friendliness, practicality, and beauty. The result is a space that balances aesthetics and functionality, providing a comfortable and stylish living environment.
